The World's First 100% All Vinyl Online Radio Station!

Turntables! True, all of our source material is vinyl recordings. You'll hear a pop and click now and again. We're continually upgrading and building a library with the best quality vinyl recordings.

There are two ways to listen. Our 128k stream is great for mobile devices and more limited bandwidth. The 320k stream is a great experience that really puts the turntable in your room. Requires higher bandwidth. This is on our path to provide a true lossless stream at some point. While everyone we've heard from loves the quality of the 320k stream there have been bandwidth issues. We have spent a lot of time If you don't have a good experience at 320k please let us know. Feedback Then try the 128k streams. They both sound great!

We decided this was a good idea because vinyl just sounds better! We believe you'll agree! If you do, tell your friends!

01.02.14 Unbelievable. Here I sit another freakin' year I didn't get done what I wanted to. I didn't hear the music, see the movies, and most importantly didn't spend time with the people I care about. I lost my best friend of 40+ years. I got reacquainted with a best friend from 40 years ago. And so it goes in music. We saw more vinyl last year and you can expect to see even more current titles and audiophile reissues this year. Vinyl is roaring back as people discover and rediscover the best medium for music is in fact polyvinyl chloride. As the new year begins and we reassess our reassessment - we might have had a little too much "help" over the holidays in expanding our thinking. So, our resolutions considered and decisions made, here we go.

Good news and bad news. The bad news first. At this time we are going to discontinue our 256k stream. It sounded great but it appears that if folks could get 256k they can also get 320k with no problem. Obviously, the higher quality stream is opted for.

The extremely good news. We are continuing to expand our library. We are also expanding our channels. VinylEars.com will become the portal for Vinyl HD 320k streams and content for a variety of music genres. We will also be adding a lot of additional premium content including LinerNotes by Chris Miller, album reviews, and the latest videos, interviews, and news from vinyl artists.

Our current Vinyl Ears stream will morph into Vinyl Albums Rock. We will launch VinylTop40.com featuring great oldies and Classic Top 40 Hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. More channels are being planned for launch during the year.

Looking forward to that Colorado vacation even more than ever. Will Tom Petty record an answer record on vinyl called "Mary Jane's First Dance?" ###
